1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the SAT Prep & Practice: 1600.lol app for iPhone and iPad (the “App”), operated by 1600.lol. By using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Mobile App Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use the App as a guest. Sign in with Apple is optional and lets you save, merge, and sync progress. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Apple account. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms, a parent or guardian must review them for you.
3. Free first release
The current App release is free and contains no advertising, subscription, in-app purchase, or paid feature. If paid features are introduced later, their price and terms will be shown before purchase and these Terms will be updated where required.
4. Personal-use license
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial SAT study. The App’s software, design, branding, and content are owned by 1600.lol or the applicable licensors and rights holders. No other rights are granted.
5. Acceptable use
You may not scrape or bulk-copy content, bypass security or rate limits, reverse engineer the App except where law expressly permits, share unauthorized access, interfere with the service, introduce malware, use the App unlawfully, or use its content to build a competing dataset or service without written permission.
6. Educational content and test disclaimer
The App provides independent study tools, including questions, explanations, games, and practice tests. It does not provide the official SAT, an official score, or an adaptive replica of the official testing system. Practice results are estimates for study guidance; we do not guarantee any test score, admission result, scholarship, or other outcome.
SAT is a registered trademark of College Board. 1600.lol is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by College Board or any other named test publisher. Third-party names and materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.
7. Feedback and content reports
You can report an incorrect answer, explanation, rights concern, or technical issue at hi@1600.lol. You retain ownership of feedback you submit, but give us permission to use it to investigate and improve the App.
8. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the App at any time. Signed-in users can request account and cloud-progress deletion from Progress > Account > Delete account and cloud data. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but content or service may contain errors or become temporarily unavailable. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so those limits may not apply to you.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1600.lol and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance, support, or claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable provisions. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where required.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version here and changing the date above. Questions may be sent to hi@1600.lol.
