About 1600.lol

1600.lol is an independent SAT practice website. It connects targeted questions, generated timed practice, skill explanations, and review tools so students can move from a missed decision to a specific next step.

What the site offers

Practice, learn, and review in one loop

Start with a specific skill or a timed section. Attempt the work before opening an explanation, classify why an answer went wrong, and return to that decision after a delay.

Anonymous, free, and Pro access

Access limits can change, so this page describes the durable distinction without promising a fixed daily number.

  • Visitors without an account can try a limited set of question-bank questions.
  • A signed-in free account receives a daily question allowance.
  • Pro removes question-bank limits.
  • Starting a practice test from the practice-test landing page requires Pro.

How sources and review labels work

Question-bank source labels identify the collection attached to each question. The 1600.lol bank organizes multiple practice collections; it is not College Board's official Student Question Bank. Use the source filter when a particular collection matters to your practice goal.

Published resources in the resource catalog carry an editorial owner and a reviewed date. Source panels link to first-party references where the page depends on current test structure, scoring, or College Board terminology. Original teaching examples are labeled as examples and do not reproduce official questions.

Practice and scoring limits

A result shown after a generated test is a non-official practice score estimate. It is not a College Board score, does not reproduce College Board equating, and cannot predict an exact official result. Generated 1600.lol tests use fixed difficulty mixes and are not response-adaptive.

Use the estimate to compare practice sessions under similar conditions. Use College Board's Bluebook app for its official full-length adaptive practice tests, and confirm official score policies with College Board and the institutions receiving your scores.
